(WXYZ) — Both Michigan and Michigan State basketball are falling in the latest AP Top 25 poll after each team suffered a loss this weekend.
The Wolverines fell from No. 5 to No. 7 just two weeks after being undefeated. They lost to No. 20 Iowa on Friday, 74-59. The Spartans fell to No. 9 after being No. 6 last week, following a 79-75 loss to unranked Indiana.
The top four teams remained the same with Tennessee at No. 1, followed by Duke, Virginia and Gonzaga. Kentucky moved up two spots to No. 5 while Wisconsin had the biggest rise, moving up five spots to No. 19.
The Wolverines take on Rutgers Tuesday night and No. 19 Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans face Illinois on Tuesday night and Minnesota on Saturday afternoon.
