After a stellar performance against Florida, Michigan kicker Quinn Nordin has been named the Big Ten's co-Special Teams Player of the Week.
Nordin, a redshirt freshman from Rockford, became the first Michigan kicker in history to hit two field goals from 50+ yards (50, 55).
He was the No. 1-ranked kicker in the country last year, and hit four field goals in all, from 25, 55, 30 and 50 yards, and added three extra points.
His 15 points were the most ever for a Michigan kicker in his debut.
It's the first special teams player of the week honor for Michigan since Kenny Allen on Oct. 31, 2016.
Thankful for my line, snapper and holder. You guys made this possible. https://t.co/vOgkw5XrRa
