Kam Chatman is finally going to see if his decision paid off.
Chatman left Michigan's basketball program in the summer of 2016 just months after hitting the shot of his career.
He made a last-second three-pointer to help Michigan defeat No. 1 seed Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament that year. But after playing in 60 games over two seasons with the Wolverines, Chatman looked for a bigger opportunity.
He joined Detroit Mercy, following former Wolverines assistant coach and new Titans head coach Bacari Alexander.
Chatman talked with WXYZ's Brad Galli about making the decision.
