(WXYZ) — With the 26th pick in the NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Michigan defensive tackle Mazi Smith.

Smith spent four years as a Wolverine, and was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. He appeared in 35 games, starting 28 of them.

Smith had 88 tackles during his career, with 39 solo tackles credited to him.
