WXYZ — According to ESPN baseball insider Jeff Passan, the MLB players association has rejected the leagues latest offer, but did not offer a counter proposal.
The Major League Baseball Players Association has rejected MLB's latest proposal and will not counter, sources tell ESPN. In a letter to the league, the union asked MLB to inform it of how many games it intends to play and when players should report.

The league could force a season to be played, but it is unclear if all players will report to training camps, as some will sit out the season due to the negotiations falling through.

UPDATE: The MLB has responded to the players statement, saying in part they are disappointed in the players union for failing to negotiate in good faith.
