(WXYZ) — Michigan State's Cassius Winston has been named to the 2019-20 Senior CLASS Award All-American team after a nationwide vote of coaches, media and fans.
The award goes to a player with notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
CLASS stands for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, and focuses on the total student-athlete. Kansas' Udoka Azubuike, Marquette's Markus Howard, Utah State's Sam Merrill and Seton Hall's Myles Powell were also honored with the All American award.
