(WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions have the third pick in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft, which continues Friday night, and the team reportedly had a private meeting with a quarterback last month.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts had a private meeting with GM Bob Quinn last month.

Hurts finished as a runner up for the Heisman Trophy last year, and threw for 3,851 yards and 32 touchdowns in his final season for the Sooners.
