DETROIT (WXYZ) — Playoff soccer is headed back to the Motor City as the Detroit City Football Club and Keyworth Stadium will play host to the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Midwest Region semifinals and finals this weekend.
Le Rouge atop the top the Midwest Region standings and at the top of the Great Lakes Conference Division after a 10-1-3 record netting them 33 points. They have a No. 2 seed in the playoffs, while Cleveland SC has the No. 1 seed with an 8-2 record.
The semifinals games will be played back-to-back on Friday, July 19 at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, the home of DCFC. Game 1 will feature Cleveland SC taking on the winner of AFC Ann Arbor/Rochester Lancers at 4:30 p.m., while game two will feature Detroit City FC vs. the winner of Med City FC/Minneapolis City SC at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of those two games will face each other in the Midwest Region Final at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 21.
Individual tickets to the matches are $12 and on sale now at tickets.detcityfc.com. They will be available at the gate for $15 if the game doesn't sell out.
General admission weekend passes will get access to all games for just $20, or a Gold admission weekend pass with premium midfield seating for $30.
