(WXYZ) — The Detroit Red Wings have assigned four players to the Grand Rapids Griffins, including Filip Zadina, just one day after he scored two goals.

With Zadina, defenseman Dennis Cholowski, winger Givani Smith and goaltender Calvin Pickard were sent down to Grand Rapids.

With the moves, the Red Wings recalled Toledo Walleye goaltender Kaden Fulcher under emergency conditions.

Smith has appeared in 15 games this season and has scored two goals in the past five games with Detroit. Zadina has four points in the last five games, while Cholowski has a point.
