DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Red Wings have signed center Dominic Turgeon to a one-year contract extension.
The team announced the deal Monday but did not disclose terms.
Turgeon has primarily spent the past four seasons with AHL Grand Rapids, appearing in five games for Detroit during the 2017-18 season and four games in the 2018-19 season. He spent the entire 2019-20 season with the Griffins, tallying 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 63 games.
The Red Wings selected Turgeon in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
