(WXYZ) — The Lions are in last place in the NFC North.
And they just traded one of their defensive captains.
The Lions dealt safety Quandre Diggs and a 2021 seventh round pick to the Seahawks for a 2020 fifth round pick, NFL Network reports.
Diggs signed a contract extension in 2018 through 2021. He's in his fifth season. He was the last remaining player from Detroit's 2015 draft class.
