The Pistons are a disappointment in the NBA this season.
There could be changes coming to the front office as a result.
The Pistons are interested in hiring Chauncey Billups to work with Arn Tellum, New York Times reporter Marc Stein said on Tuesday.
Detroit has expressed interest in hiring the former Pistons star Chauncey Billups to work in tandem with Arn Tellem in a totally revamped front office, according to league sources

Billups refuted the report on ESPN, calling the report "absolutely false." The Pistons also told the Free Press the report is "false."
Last summer, Billups was linked to the Cavaliers open general manager job. He nearly landed it, too. Arn Tellum, meanwhile, was reportedly a finalist to run the Lakers.
Pistons owner Tom Gores trusts Tellum. He gave him the reigns to effectively run the Pistons organization as soon as he bought it.
