DETROIT — Rickie Fowler is stepping up to help the Rocket Mortgage Classic's main focus this year: the tournament's 'Changing the Course' efforts.
He is donating $100,000 to the fund, Rocket Mortgage Classic executive director Jason Langwell said.
The efforts are aimed at closing Detroit’s digital access divide.
Rocket Mortgage sponsors Fowler, a five-time winner on the PGA Tour.
The Rocket Mortgage Classic hoped to raise $1 million during today’s charity challenge.
