(WXYZ) — River Rouge celebrated its first football state championship at Ford Field over Thanksgiving weekend.
The Panthers beat Muskegon, 30-7. They returned to school with a pep rally on Monday afternoon.
The celebration continued at WXYZ Channel 7's studios with a visit to Broadcast House. Head coach Corey Parker and eight key members of the Division 3 champs joined Brad Galli live during 7 Action News at 5 PM.
