ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions announced Friday that some employees will return to Ford Field and the Allen Park training facility later this month.
According tot he team, it is part of phase 1 of the employee return-to-work protocol amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The employees will be returning to work on Wednesday, June 10.
"Our staff across all departments have worked diligently while remote and we appreciate our hard-working employees," the team said in a statement.
The NFL off-season program for players remains in a virtual state, according to the team, and the coaching staff will continue to operate the same as they have over the past several weeks.
