The Spartans season has a crucial two game stretch to determine how this season will be looked at.

At 6-4, they have an opportunity to get to eight wins, and while that's short os self-proclaimed expectations in East Lansing, trying to stop the bleeding after a disastrous game against Ohio State is paramount.

Mark Dantonio knows the sharks are circling.

The twelfth-year head coach said the determination of who his starting quarterback will be something discussed with the team and won't be determined until practice plays out this week.

He also said there will be multiple factors involved in choosing who will play, asking rhetorically, if his incumbent start Brian Lewerke is playing 'hurt' or playing 'injured,' as many players at this point of the season typically are.

Regardless of who plays, the offense is going to have to find a way to be better than it has been, as Nebraska is starting to look like the team that Scott Frost was brought in to make it look like; a high scoring one.
