Tigers, Nicholas Castellanos agree to one-year contract

DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Tigers have agreed to a one-year contract with outfielder Nicholas Castellanos, avoiding arbitration.
The deal is worth $9.95 million, according to beat writer Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press.
Castellanos hit .298 with 23 home runs and 89 RBI in 157 games in 2018. He ranked third in the American League with 185 hits.
