(WXYZ) — The game Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins on Friday night has been postponed due to weather, the team announced on Friday afternoon.
Storms and rain have hit metro Detroit throughout the day and are expected to continue on and off as the night goes on.
Both teams will play a straight 7-inning doubleheader on Saturday. The two teams were supposed to play a doubleheader on Friday after Thursday's game was postponed as league's protested the killing of Jacob Blake.
Information for the 2nd game being rescheduled will be released at a later date.
