The Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup on Thursday night, defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.
T.J. Oshie talked about his father, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was on-hand to watch his son hoist the Cup.
"My dad's here in the crowd. He's diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and he doesn't remember a lot of stuff," he told CBC's Scott Oake.
"But you bet your ass he's gonna remember this."
Tears. So many tears.
