(WXYZ) — Tom Watson hit the last shot at Oakland Hills before South Course renovations will close the historic 18 holes until 2021.
The eight-time major champion served as the keynote speaker for the club's Scholarship Trust banquet, which helps raise money for caddies and club employees.
WXYZ sports anchor Brad Galli served as emcee and Golf Channel's Brandel Chamblee was on-hand for a fireside chat with Watson.
