Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal spoke to Brad Galli ahead of the team's home opener on Friday at Tarik Skubal.
He said he got to the ballpark around 8:15 a.m. and saw fans already celebrating outside.
Skubal said this is his third Opening Day in Detroit and each one has been incredibly special.
