It's been almost eight years since former Detroit Red Wings bruise brother Bob Probert died at the age of 45, and a new documentary will be released in Canada telling his story.

The first trailer for "Tough Guy: The Bob Probert Story" was released on Monday. The film is directed by Gordie Day and is based on the book, "Tough Guy: My Life on the Edge" which was written by Probert and Kirstie McLellan Day.

According to Deadline, the film will air in the U.S. in 2019 before premiering on Canada's Superchannel on Dec. 14.

The trailer features interviews with Probert's widow, Dani, as well as Joe Kocur, Tie Domi, Don Cherry, Jeremy Roenick, Chris Chelios, Steve Yzerman and many more people.
