WXYZ — Both Michigan and Michigan State suffered their first losses in conference play over the past ten days but certain players for both teams are still setting the bar high for the rest of the conference.
Spartans junior guard Cassius Winston won his second straight player of the week honor, splitting it this week with Minnesota's Jordan Murphy. This is the fourth time that Winston won this award this season.
Iggy Brazdeikis has been a star for the Wolverines in his rookie season as he won his fourth freshman of the week honors in a big bounce back week for the Wolverines.
