(WXYZ) — Wrestling legend Ric Flair has been hospitalized with a "very serious" medical emergency, TMZ Sports is reporting.
According to TMZ, Flair was rushed to a hospital on Thursday morning in Atlanta after suffering the emergency. It's not clear what exactly happened.
Conrad Thompson, a popular wrestling podcaster, refuted the report through Sean Ross Sapp, saying Flair had a planned procedure.
Conrad Thompson says the Ric Flair situation "is not as grave or serious" as TMZ makes it out, and says that this was a planned procedure that Ric Flair wanted to have before Las Vegas.

This isn't the first time Flair has dealt with health issues. The 70-year-old was near death in 2017 when he had to be put in a medically-induced coma.
"People say it's a miracle," Flair said in an interview with the Associated Press in October 2017.
