If you like a sub with a kick, you’ll want to check out Subway’s new sandwiches inspired by game-day staples that are sure to delight your taste buds.
Now for a limited time, their new BBQ chicken sandwich and Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo chicken sandwich are basically chicken wings in a sandwich, which, as any football fan knows, is a popular appetizer choice.
The new BBQ Chicken sandwich is stuffed with tender chicken strips coated with sweet barbecue sauce. While you can get any toppings you want, Subway recommends lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles.
If you prefer more heat, try the Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Chicken sandwich, which is tossed in a new Buffalo sauce Subway made exclusively with Frank’s Red Hot sauce. It is then toasted on your favorite bread and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and ranch dressing.
These new sandwiches are fresh off the heels of a BBQ rib sandwich Subway had on the menu in September.
While it is no longer available, it featured pork topped with sweet barbecue sauce, lettuce, onions and pickles. If you tried it and liked it, odds are good you’re going to like the new BBQ chicken sub because they use the same sauce.
If you can’t make up your mind on which sandwich you want to order, you can just order both through a deal Subway is offering right now. Through the entire NFL season, you can get a free sub with the purchase of two.
While you could get these two new subs and then another one for free, the deal also applies to any sandwich. The only restrictions are that the free sub must be equal or lesser price than the other two, and that the deal is at participating restaurants only.
The deal cannot be ordered for delivery but can be ordered in-store, through the Subway App or online. If you’re ordering online, you can also pay at the same time for contactless payment and quick pick-up.
