DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MICH (WXYZ) — Celebrating it's 20th anniversary, The World Sabbath is coming to the Islamic House of Wisdom in Dearborn Heights Michigan.
This will be the first time the event in it's 20 years will be held in a Mosque. The event will be held Sunday March 3rd, 2019 from 4pm to 5:30pm with an afterglow to follow.
The World Sabbath interfaith service grew out of concerns raised by wars that had been raging around the world - in Serbia, Kosovo, Ireland and the Middle East. The March 3rd service will consist of offerings of prayer by presenters from many beliefs and of a Children of Peace procession. The Islamic House of Wisdom is located at 22575 Ann Arbor Trail.
