Metro Detroit Forecast: Storms Tuesday, Snow Wednesday

TONIGHT: Becoming cloudy. Chance of rain/snow mix overnight. Lows in the low to mid 30s.

TUESDAY: Rain likely in southern Michigan. Snow likely in northern Michigan. Light rain is possible in the morning, with a wet snowflake possible north of Detroit. Rain showers more likely by the middle of the day. Heavier rain and thunderstorms likely late afternoon through the evening. Some storms could produce strong wind gusts and small hail. Our northern counties may stay in the 30s, but some areas closer to Ohio could reach the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY: Morning snow showers. Southeast Michigan could see up to a dusting of snow, mainly on grassy areas, especially north and west of Detroit. Snow moves out by the afternoon. Highs near 40°. Windy with gusts near 30 mph.
