(WXYZ) — WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR ST. CLAIR AND SANILAC COUNTIES UNTIL 5 AM TUESDAY FOR 6"- 12" OF SNOWFALL.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT FOR LAPEER AND MACOMB COUNTIES UNTIL 4 AM.

Tonight: Getting colder and drier as the storm system moves out overnight. However, continued bands of lake effect snow will be possible around the Thumb and Port Huron bringing another 2"-4" in some areas there. Low of 19° with wind chills in the single digits. NW 10-20 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly sunny, breezy and cold. 20% chance of a snow shower. High of 27°. NW 10-20 mph.

Wednesday: Record cold in the morning with a low of 9°and wind chills approaching zero. Partly sunny with a high of 27°. Snow showers possible at night.
