(WXYZ) — The National Weather Service is confirming that a tornado touched down in Iron County on Sunday.
Rated an EF-1, the tornado was on the ground for just over 1/4 mile and for just over a minute.
The 250-yard wide tornado was located to the north of Iron Mountain in the Upper Peninsula, near the state line with Wisconsin.
