SOUTH LYON, Mich. (WXYZ) — Two shops in downtown South Lyon, both with very different vibes, are now open for customers.
The Lemon Treeis a gift shop filled with Boho Chic decor, while right next door Venue is catering to rock n’ roll fashion.
“We knew we wanted to bring some rock n’ roll into this pretty quit town,” said owner of Venue Tanya Nevitt.
WE’RE OPEN: Yesterday was the first day I did a “We’re Open” piece in person in a LONG time. We of course practiced social distancing, and I did wear a face mask. @wxyzdetroit pic.twitter.com/K4I9qkAb8W

They have plenty of rock n’ roll clothing and jewelry, including a wide variety of denim options.
“After things are tried on, we do put them in the back for 24 hours before we put them back on the floor,” said Tanya.
Venue is also offering a face mask for those who forget theirs at home. They also have touch-less payment options, including using Venmo to pay for merchandise.
Venue opened three years ago, around the same timeframe that The Lemon Tree opened.
“Now that we are reopened everyone is thrilled to be in here,” said owner Annie Buchtrup.
They have a wide variety of home decor to spurs up your living space.
“Every time that someone purchases an item we sanitize the counters, we sanitize the credit card machine,” said Buchtrup.
Both are still offering curbside pickup for those who don't feel comfortable going out and shopping.
