(WXYZ) — Children across Metro Detroit are likely getting those letters to Santa ready. But if you don’t have those wish lists yet, with some of the best discount shopping days upon us, we’ve got you covered.

We’re linking up with trend tracker Retail Me Not to find out what your kids are eyeing. Shopping & retail expert Sara Skirboll says you'll see a lot of toys this year that you might recognize from last year, but in an updated version.

Blind, collectible, unboxing toys like LOL surprise are still in this year, but now expanded and offered in multiple new versions.

Also on the hot toys list is Spin Master’s Owleez, an interactive pet that you can rescue, take care of and teach to fly.

Meantime, unicorn and llamas toys are getting a lot of fanfare this year. One that will be on the wish lists of little girls is Boppy the booty shakin' llama. It moves, grooves and twirls to three different songs.

If your child is into Legos, then check out the Lego Overwatch Bastion figure, based on one of the most recognized characters of the popular action game.

If you're looking for something more interactive for the whole family, then consider a modern take on Pictionary -- Pictionary Air. It features a special light up pen that allows images drawn in the air to appear on an app.

So where can you buy these hot toys the cheapest? Prices are changing every day, but Retail Me Not says Amazon, Walmart and Target will be competing most for your toy dollars.

Retail Me Not says to make sure you’re taking advantage of incentives, whether that’s free shipping, a free gift card with purchase or free gift wrap.
