A disabled vet is asking for help after a tree crashed into his home.

As it turns out, this is not the first time the same tree has caused some major damage.

The back of a car was shattered. It happened just last month from a branch.

But just last week, the same tree struck again. That's when he wrote into us for help.

Jerome Maclin says after a storm last week, he came out of his home to find his more than 60-year-old tree completely split in half - one part lodged on top of the attic.

But Maclin says he's now used to seeing old trees wreak new havoc on his backyard. The best example? This busted window on his old Chevy.

A month before that? A different tree split and fell right into his neighbor’s backyard.

It's gotten so bad, Maclin says he often finds himself sleeping in his living room to make sure he can always get out the door.

In the past, he's tried to do the clean up himself, but as he gets older, the job gets more burdensome and less affordable.

I have to point out that in addition to being a disabled vet, he's also a minister at Detroit church. So while he's usually helping others, this time he needs a little bit of help.

If you know someone who can donate their services to get this resolved, send an email to Ameera.David@WXYZ.COM.

I'm sure he would appreciate it.
