Police confirm that one person is in custody after the Monday night shooting of a 7-year-old girl.
The shooting happened before midnight in the 2900 block of Monterey between Lawton & Wildemere, that's just west of Linwood.
Police say at least three shots were fired into the home, with at least one bullet hitting the child.
The girl was rushed to the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
