A 24-year-old woman from Ann Arbor was one of the shooting victims who was wounded at a pool party in San Diego on Sunday.

Charnee James was shot in both legs when a man opened fire firing at victims.

The suspect, 49-year-old Peter Selis, reportedly was upset about a breakup, called his girlfriend and began shooting at victims randomly.

One woman was killed and six others were injured.

Selis was fatally shot by police.

The grandfather of Charnee James says she was supposed to start her dream job as a social worker this week, but will be in the hospital for a couple of weeks.

Charnee and three others had just come back from a camping trip, with the woman who was killed.

The woman who was killed was the best friend of Charnee’s cousin.
