Video released in murder of man over sunglasses

Police say a young man was murdered over a pair of designer glasses.

They are releasing new video and 911 calls in hopes of finding one of Detroit's Most Wanted.

The murder happened Monday, July 6th around nine at night.

Twenty-one-year old Devin Guidry and his cousin were walking on Van Dyke towards Outer Drive. Then, the unthinkable happened.

"The guys with the gun kinda circles around them, pulls the gun, walks, shoots the victim in the head, he drops, witness runs," is how Detroit Police Detective John Mitchell describes what happened.

The witness, Devin's cousin ran and called for help.

Homicide detectives with the Detroit Police Department say Devin died from the single gunshot to the head.

After the shooting, detectives say the gunman who was wearing a hoody with a white tie-die shirt took off running with the Cartier sunglasses.

Now police are on the hunt for the killer and the person he was with.
