Jerrica Hicks had no idea the trouble that was heading straight at her around 2:00 a.m. as she headed to her home in Warren.

Police say a 31-year-old man who was not only drunk, but driving over 100 mph, was traveling in the opposite direction.

That man crossed the center line and crashed into the Dodge Neon that Jerrica was driving. The 26-year-old was killed.

The suspected drunk driver survived and was taken into custody.

Relatives say Jerrica's boyfriend is a tow truck driver and he got the call to head to the crash site to haul away the vehicles. That's when he found out that the woman he loves had been killed.

Jerrica leaves behind a young son.

The 31-year-old driver who caused the crash could face charges as early as Tuesday.

Jerrica's family has set up a GoFundMe account to help cover the costs of her funeral. Click here if you'd like to donate.
