An Amber Alert has now been issued for the two children taken in a vehicle that was stolen from a gas station near Flint this morning.

Our sister station, WJRT, is reporting that a 2-year-old and 9-month-old were in the dark blue Monte Carlo when it was stolen around 7 a.m. at an Admiral gas station on the 4000 block of South Saginaw in Burton.

The vehicle reportedly has tinted windows and is a 2000 model.

Arianna Buning, 2, is described as being 3'0" tall and 28 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Lincoln Buning, 9 months old, is about 2'0" tall and 22 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

The man who took them is described as a black male, about 5'10" and 300 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a red sweatshirt.

WNEM spoke with the mother who said she was in the gas station buying cigarettes and a lighter when she saw the man jump into her car.

Anyone with information is asked to call police immediately.
