As temperatures increase - we've noticed the number of motorcycles accidents increasing too – with more happening this weekend on city streets than freeways.

In Eastpointe, one motorcyclist died just two days ago.

A memorial grows on the corner of 10 Mile and Hayes, where Robert Dalkert was hit and killed while on his motorcycle this weekend. It was one of multiple accidents, during what some say is the unofficial beginning of the motorcycle-riding season.

There were at least 3 accidents on Saturday alone.

In Detroit, 44-year-old Tina Jones died after a car in a left turn lane  at East Warren and Lakepoint collided with her motorcycle.

In Eastpointe - 53-year-old Robert "RC" Dalkert from Warren died after the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a suspected drunk driver.

And In Dearborn another motorcycle driver was thrown off the bike at Warren and Greenfield in Dearborn -- after being hit by a car that had pulled out to cross the street.

Police say texting and distracted driving is a common cause for drivers not noticing motorcycles, and they ask drivers to pay attention.
