Those worried that the new QLINE in Detroit wouldn't have open late enough for sporting events or a night out will enjoy this news.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the QLINE will run until 11 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, with service going until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

A spokesperson for the M-1 Rail told the Free Press that it will close at 8 p.m. on Sunday and open late at 8 a.m. on Saturday to accommodate the change.

The Free Press reports that the end of service time means the time the last train would leave the northern or southern most station.

The projected hours, according to the Free Press, are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Friday: 6 a.m.-midnight
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-midnight
  • Sunday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
