Community Care Services is hosting its 2nd annual "Reality of Recovery" community forum to help those overcome addiction.

The public is invited to this free event, featuring metro-Detroit news veteran, Frank Turner.

Frank Turner will share his own personal story of addiction and recovery, and will also moderate a panel discussion of individuals who have struggled with, or lost someone to addiction.

The event will offer insights and perspectives as well as provide resources for recovery, treatment and support.

It takes place on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Wayne County Community College District Downriver Campus, Ray Mix Room.

While admission is free, registration is required.  Click here to register.
