The Detroit Public Schools Community District will have another half day on Tuesday due to near record high temperatures.
Temperatures are expected to range up to the mid-90s.
The half day dismissal schedule will be for school-based staff and students.
All afternoon sports and training will be canceled as well.
DPSCD expects to return to its regular schedule Wednesday.
