Police busted a drug home in Detroit where it's believed the man living was producing Fentanyl - a drug so deadly it can kill those who come in contact with it.

What's worse, there were four children living inside the home.

For nearly eight hours HAZMAT and state police were outside the home as they removed buckets of loose powder believed to be Fentanyl.

It’s 100 times stronger than morphine - strong enough to kill someone if they touch it.

That’s why Denise Martin is fuming after learning police discovered what appears to be a Fentanyl lab in her neighbor’s basement.

According to police at the scene - the home on the 8400 block of Beaverland in Detroit was raided earlier this morning.

While investigating a possible statewide drug ring, Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw says police were lead to this home.

Four children -including two infants – were living inside the home with a drug lab in the basement.

Several agencies were called to the scene including HAZMAT. Investigators were taking no chances as they removed large amounts of loose powder from the home.

Lt. Shaw says the home has been condemned and may have to be demolished because of how dangerous manufacturing the drug fentanyl can be.

Meanwhile residents say they owe police lots of praise.

We're told the man was arrested, the children were placed with relatives and we're also told another home in Livonia was raided this morning - believed to be connected to this one.
