"He loves to give kisses," says Detroit Dog Rescue's Kristina Rinaldi about the puppy now named "Chandler" as she cuddles the 5 to 6 week old Blue Nose Pit Bull before he undergoes another surgery to repair his mutilated genitals.

On Monday, Rinaldi released surveillance video of the man who reportedly found the puppy in Chandler Park Friday in hopes that he will come forward with any other information that might help find the person or people responsible for what is believed to be a case of torture of the puppy.

At first, it was believed that an untrained person may have tried to neuter the puppy and then dumped him in the park when it ended horribly.

But a veterinarian's closer look at Chandler's injuries suggest someone intended to harm the puppy, says Rinaldi.

Click on the video to see how Chandler is doing today, and see the surveillance video of the man DDR is hoping to talk to in hopes that he'll recall other details, including the exact location where he found the puppy and any other people he may have seen nearby.

The Michigan Humane Society has also offered to have their investigators help in the case.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Detroit Dog Rescue at 313-458-8014.

Anonymous tips are also welcomed regarding the well-being of Chandler's littermates.
