19-year-old killed, 3 others injured in crash

Fraser police say a 19-year-old man was killed and three other people were injured in a crash early Saturday morning.

According to police, the crash happened around 1:41 a.m. at the intersection of Groesbeck and 14 Mile.

Police say a car with four people inside was stopped at the red light at the intersection when a 2004 Buick SUV crashed into them at a high rate of speed.

According to police, the 19-year-old Roseville High School student was killed was sitting in the back seat of the car that was hit, and a 20-year-old man also sitting in the back seat is in critical condition. The driver and front passenger of the car are in stable condition.

Police say the driver of the Buick that hit the car is 24 years old and in custody. He will be arraigned on charges Monday. Police said it appears alcohol was a factor in the incident.
