Several houses were evacuated after a gas leak in Royal Oak on Thursday afternoon.
According to the city, a contractor hit a gas line in the area of Campbell and Lincoln that prompted a few homes, and the Boys and Girls Club to be evacuated as a precaution.
There were no injuries, and a utility company was on scene Thursday night to clean up the issue.
As of Friday morning, the gas leak had been taken care of and things are back to normal.
