Fire crews are on scene battling a large apartment fire in Dearborn Heights.
We're told the fire happened at Carriage Hill Apartments on Cherry Hill Rd. between Inkster and Beech Daly roads.
According to the chief on scene, the first started in the bathroom just before 7 a.m. It happened right before the shift change so there are many crews fighting the fire right now.
Luckily, the chief says everyone got out safely, but it appears the fire has spread to eight units in the building.
