The Power Of Produce Club for kids coming to Lincoln Park Farmers Market

Lincoln Park Farmers Market is bringing the popular kids program Power of Produce (POP) Club to the market this year.  The Power Of Produce (POP) Club is a nationally recognized kids program aimed at empowering kids to make healthy food choices, introducing them to where their food comes from. 

The popular farmers’ market-based children’s program teaches children about the benefits of nutritious fruits and vegetables, local food systems and healthy food preparation through fun activities. POP Club is free for kids ages 5-12. Registration is required.

This program will run from June 4 – October 29, 2017.   Market hours are 11 am – 4 pm, Sunday’s, at the southwest corner of Fort Street & Southfield, Lincoln Park.  

Lincoln Park Farmers Market is seeking volunteers, community organizations or individuals, to assist them with the new program. Lincoln Park Library has agreed to participate in the new kids program.
