Semi falls off I-75 bridge at Dearborn St. in southwest Detroit

MDOT says all lanes of northbound I-75 at Dearborn St. in southwest Detroit are back open after a semi fell off the bridge earlier this morning.

According to Michigan State Police, the semi was involved in an accident when it went off the bridge.

The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries, according to Michigan State Police.

10:42 a.m.

The driver of a semi that fell off the bridge on I-75 at Dearborn St. in southwest Detroit has suffered minor injuries, according to Michigan State Police.

Troopers are on scene investigating the crash, which is not the first time a semi went off the bridge at that overpass.

Emergency crews are on scene on the highway and on the street below where the semi is.

A Jeep and another vehicle are on the side of the road talking with troopers and appear to be involved in the accident.

10:22 a.m.

A semi truck has fallen off the bridge on I-75 at Dearborn St. in southwest Detroit.

An MDOT traffic camera shows the semi on the ground below the overpass with significant damage.

Northbound I-75 is closed at Dearborn due to the crash.

Right now, it's not clear if there are any injuries.

In July 2016, a semi crashed through the wall and went off the bridgein the exact same area.
