Black smoke reached into the sky as firefighters responded to a truck fire at a gas station in Independence Township.
The call of the fire came in at 3:42 p.m.
Viewer Scott Willett was able to capture this footage of the truck on fire.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said a garbage truck at the pump caught fire at the Citgo Gas station, located at Maybee Road and Dixie Highway.
Independence Fire and Haz Mat crews are on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
The roads are not closed, but we are told traffic is slow moving.
