Woman released after deadly shooting in her Macomb Township home
MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Macomb County Sheriff's Office has released a 42-year-old woman after she allegedly shot and killed her boyfriend early Saturday morning.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called to the 22000 block of Saskatoon Ct around 2:27 a.m. in Macomb Township.That's near 22 Mile and Card Rd.
According to deputies, the 35-year-old man - Harold Smith - was found shot at the home and then pronounced dead.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the woman had a concealed pistol license. Authorities had been called to the home for two prior domestic reports in the past year and a half.
Right now, deputies are still investigating, collecting evidence and conducting interviews.
